Linking to specific
definitions - the easy way
We've added an anchor name in front of each term
in the dictionary. The anchor names are exactly the same as the term,
but without spaces. Page names are simply the letters of the
alphabet.
For example, to link to our definition of "paid
listing", you would link to p.shtml#paidlisting. Note the shtml!
The full URL for that link would be: http://www.searchenginedictionary.com/p.shtml#paidlisting.
The easy way to get the full URL for any term is to click the small
"permanent link" image below
the definition. The full URL plus anchor will appear in the address
field of your browser.
Feel free to link to our definitions. We have
a little JavaScript back button below each definition so your users
can easily return to your site.
